About us

The American Association of Pharmaceutical Scientists (AAPS)-National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research (NIPER) student chapter was established in 2007 with the objective of providing greater opportunities to the Indian students for enhancing their knowledge and professional awareness in the field of pharmaceutical science. NIPER, S.A.S. Nagar, one of the leading pharmaceutical research institutes in India, is a center of excellence for advanced studies and research in pharmaceutical sciences. It gives opportunities to the budding scientists to grow multi-dimensionally.

The AAPS NIPER student chapter is highly enthusiastic in promoting the scientific and professional relationship through the interaction of academia and industry delegate. The chapter was started with strength of 24 members and at present, the number of the chapter members has increased to more than 90 members.

The chapter stepped into various activities such as organizing talks from academic and industry professionals, industry visit, workshop, student’s journal clubs and marking their presence in AAPS and other international conferences.

Our Mission

The mission of the AAPS NIPER student chapter is to promote participation of Indian students at various AAPS activities, increase awareness of latest advances in pharmaceutical sciences, and provide opportunities for professional and leadership development.

Goals

  • To organize more lectures from industry and academia to update the recent innovation and developments in the pharmaceutical sciences.
  • Participate in societal activities to boost up the communications and networking
  • To endow the students with the knowledge and professional awareness in the arena of pharmaceutical science
